On May 16, 2018, I lost the bravest boy I’ve ever known and heaven got another angel.
Although my heart will never be the same without him, I started The Braedon Foundation with the help of family and friends so that even though he is gone his light will still shine on. This is something that I had to do. As Braedon’s mother, I have an overwhelming need for him to be remembered and for that bright beautiful light of his to continue to shine on in this world. I am called to create this legacy in his memory because he was taken before he got the chance to really make his mark in the world. Together we will honor him and make that mark for him by helping others in his name.
Setting out on this mission to help others, to bring a touch of happiness to other kids braving their own health battles, bringing awareness to the importance of and encouraging blood and organ donation gives me, our friends and family and even the community something positive to focus on.
It gives me purpose, allows me to still care for him even though he is gone and it allows for something beautiful to come out of something so unimaginable.
Thank you for your interest in our Foundation!
